HIRE A DARING
How can I hire a Daring for a weekend of racing?

Can I be taught to helm a Daring by an expert?

How to get involved:

1
Contact the class using the Contact Us page

2
State whether you are experienced or will need an experienced Daring helm to guide you

3
Pick three competent friends as crew
(two if you're requiring an experienced helm guide)

4
Pick your weekend of racing
(first come first served for all weekends May through October)

5
Fill in the appropriate documentation and pay the fee
(£350 total for two days of racing Sat/Sun, with special rates for Cowes Week and other events. For details, Contact Us)

6
Arrive in Cowes, receive appropriate guidance and then head out to the start line!
(note: we would encourage you and your crew to familiarise yourselves with the Daring under expert guidance before racing - all included in your weekend fees)
NOT CONFIDENT HELMING ON YOUR OWN?
Helming a Daring in a race may be a daunting thought for the inexperienced helm.
If so, why not hire a Daring along with an experienced helm who can get you on/off the mooring, take control in an emergency, but otherwise guide you through your first few races?

There is no better (or other!) way to learn than via experience.
